The Unscripted artist

The Unscripted Artist is all about making a custom, one-of-a kind quilt that is specifically tailored to each client.  Each of us are unique in our own ways, just like our fingerprints, and the artist is especially interested in including these special touches in creative ways to your quilt.  The artist also enjoys sharing the story of the quilt and will often include a custom card sharing special details about design and the construction process.

Our "unscripted" artist begins each quilt with inspiration vs a pattern.  A pattern may or may not be created eventually, but it's really all about whom the quilt is being made for.  When creating a custom piece, the artist begins with a client interview, gathering details about what the individual would like to see or just simply get a feel for who will be receiving the quilt.  Communication is the key to a successful quilt and the meeting of expectations.  Consultations may occur in person or on video chat depending on availability and location.

Please note, these custom pieced creations usually begin at a price point of $250 and can go into the thousands.  For our custom designed whole cloth quilts, pricing typically begins around $150.
